Drimnagh Castle operates within the context of the Edmund Rice Schools Trust (ERST) Charter. The legacy of Edmund Rice, challenges our school to be inclusive and to be especially mindful of the disadvantaged. It challenges our school to focus on the importance of a values-based, Christian education in the Catholic tradition. 4th Year - Mixed Media Collage
Theme - Identities
Aim
To set up a collective still life composition from objects that represent the learners and create this piece of work using four different drawing materials, incorporating line, tone, shape, texture, form, colour into the finished piece.
Learning Intentions

Show what they are interested in by making a mind map of their likes/interests (L)(O).

To set up their group compositions with the objects they had brought in.

Start to draw a simple line drawing of the composition in which they will use different mediums to collage Eg Pencil, marker, fabric etc.

To produce a mixed media drawing incorporating line, tone, shape, texture, form, dot and colour.
